In 1985 Monsanto dismisses Roger Vandermeiren, a union delegate at its plant near Antwerp, for defending a colleague. A seven-week strike and six months in court follow, and Vandermeiren keeps representing his co-workers from a caravan parked outside the gates. Rob Rombout's early video turns a labour dispute into the portrait of a proud man who refuses to leave.
