In 1998 Carnival bought Cunard and decided to build the longest, largest and most expensive liner in history. At the Saint-Nazaire shipyard, architects, engineers and designers turn a balance sheet into the Queen Mary 2. Twelve years after his QE2 crossing, Rob Rombout returns to the Atlantic to watch a liner being built from scratch.
